On June 5th a TBEC ad hoc committee will meet to review last year's Honor Roll event and discuss plans for the 2008 event. The 2008 TBEC Honor Roll awards celebration will take place in San Antonio on November 10th. Last year we recognized 385 schools here in Austin. Schools are selected based on a formula which takes into consideration the percentage of students passing all tests and the percentage of students passing all tests at the commended level. The school's demographics are also considered and a school must have performed at a high academic level for three consecutive years.
